If 2019 was any indication of how trade shows are trending, then 2020 is going to be a banner year. Below is a highlight of some spectacular upcoming trade shows, organized by industry and date. Based on the 2018 Top 250 US Trade Shows by Trade Show News Network, 2019-2020 is sure to please and there a few, in particular, you’ll want to look forward to.

America’s Beauty Show
April 18-20, 2020 | Chicago, IL
Ranking in the top 100 in years past (#99 last year!), America’s Beauty Show hosts 90,000+ people in the beauty industry. Salon owners, cosmetologists, aestheticians, hair stylists, and nail techs gather to see the latest and greatest products and innovations that they can use to improve their businesses. Manufacturers and distributors take the opportunity to showcase and highlight what they’ve been working on all year long. Lots of inspiration for the beauty biz at this show!

Entertainment & Hobbies

NAMM
January 16-19, 2020 | Anaheim, CA
Coming in at #23 last year, The National Association of Music Merchants attracted 115,085 attendees at its last show. Over 2,000 exhibitors gathered, representing 7,000 different brands in the music industry. At the NAMM show, attendees can expect to learn about the new innovations in music, recording technology, and new event sound, stage & lighting products. NAMM is the single largest conglomeration of folks in the music making industry.

NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits
April 16-19, 2020 | Nashville, TN
Famous for its 15 acres of exhibits showcasing stellar products in the hunting, shooting sports, and firearms industries, this show never disappoints. It’s always well-attended and well-run. Top celebrities in music and showbiz show up, shop, and perform for the attendees. This fun, popular show ranked #63 last year and had almost 100,00 attendees.

December 11-13, 2019 | Las Vegas, NV
Ranked #110 last year, MJBizCon has burst onto the scene as a newcomer. The cannabis industry is on the rise, and more trade shows are popping up as it increases in popularity. MJBizCon already expects more than 14,000 attendees this year and 650+ exhibitors. It is the best B2B cannabis conference for wholesale growers, dispensers, retailers, and secondary production companies (cannabis gummies, CBD oil blends, etc.). Exhibiting companies range from grow technology to legal services to cannabis products. This show is a chance for them to expand their knowledge and sharpen their skill base with the show’s education program.

International Roofing Expo
February 4-6, 2020 | Dallas, TX
Hosting 10,076 attendees and ranking #125 last year, the International Roofing Expo is 152,000 square feet of everything about the roofing construction and maintenance industry. Over 450 companies exhibit here to attendees from residential and commercial contractors, remodelers, architects, distributors, estimators, engineers, builders, and more.

ISC West
March 18-20, 2020 | Las Vegas, NV
Ranked #58 last year with 20,000 attendees and 30,00 security professionals, the International Security Conference West is the epitome of the security industry. It has everything you can imagine in terms of home security --  innovative solutions for access control, alarms and monitoring, communications systems, smart home technology, outdoor perimeter protection, video surveillance, and much more. Besides traditional home security products, this expo features cyber security, drone surveillance, robotic innovations and public safety.

With 70,000 buyers and 3,600 global media present, It is the “premier automotive specialty products trade event in the world.” They pull out all the stops with high-glam demonstrations, specialty products, and acres of beautiful product.

The Car Wash Show
April 6-8, 2020 | San Antonio, TX
Ranked at #116 with 8,788 attendees in 2018, The Car Wash Show prides itself with the tagline “A Good Story Starts with a Clean Car.” Over 9,000 attendees will come learn more about the fast-growing car wash industry. Four hundred exhibiting companies present new innovations and educational sessions to eager attendees. Innovative new products and business-building information is their claim to fame.
